Location

Located in the east of the Czech Republic, IVF Zlin is surrounded by beautiful hills and forests. Normally, Zlin had connectivity through the Ostrava Airport about an hour and a half away by drive but the connectivity through air channels reduced during the pandemic due to fewer airlines operating. In current times, it may be best to check all modes of travel including trains to get to the clinic. Zlin, being a smaller city, a car is essential if you’d like mobility to places other than the immediate vicinity of the clinic although you will find some modes of public transport for your travel within the city if you don’t drive.

Once in the city, Zlin offers its own cultural life, such as International Film Festival and the local Philharmonic Orchestra, and characteristic modernist architecture and historical sites. If you don’t wish to venture out, the clinic offers everything from hotel to food to wellness center on its premises.

Climate

As a country, entirely enclosed by land, Czech has four seasons with a moderate climate. The lowest temperature in winter can reach 25°F (– 4°C). Bundle up, winters are icy and wet. June, July, and August are the warmest months of the year with the highest temperatures reaching 86°F (30°C) and mostly dry weather conditions but severe thunderstorms can happen during the summer months.
